Garbine Muguruza broke down in tears in her post-match press conference following her French Open exit to Kristina Mladenovic.
The defending champion suffered a disappointing exit to the 13th seed and home favourite in what were difficult conditions on Suzanne-Lenglen.
Muguruza was heavily taunted throughout by the French crowd, who were raucous in their support of one of their own, and Muguruza left the court to a chorus of boos after wagging her finger at the supporters in the stadium.

The fourth seed could not hide her emotions after a 1-6 6-3 3-6 defeat and was forced to take a break midway through the post-match briefing as she broke down.
Muguruza was asked a question about whether she was annoyed at Mladenovic screaming ‘forza’ after her own errors and she hung her head low before the moderator told the press room she would be taking a short break.
When she returned, she answered the question: ‘No, I mean she speaks like 25 languages, I heard.’
