The Telegraph Business of Sport 2017 conference gets under way today.
The two-day annual event aims to steer the UK sports industry to growth, innovation and collaboration.
It is uniquely positioned to unite 200 senior influencers – from brands, rightsholders and broadcasters, as well as innovators in the field of sport – under one roof for a unique forum of networking, learning and strategy.
Over the next two days, a number of high-profile speakers will share their experiences at the BT Centre.
Among the guests are former British and Irish Lions coach and player Sir Ian McGeechan, broadcaster Clare Balding and Britain’s most decorated female Olympic athlete Dame Katherine Grainger. Telegraph talent in chief football correspondent Jason Burt, chief sports writer Paul Hayward, columnist and former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan and writer Jim White will also all speak at the event.
The combination of keynote addresses, live interviews, case studies, expert panels, quick-fire talks, masterclasses and hosted discussion groups facilitates unique networking opportunities and will ensure attendees leave the conference having found inspiration, gained unique insights into trends in the market and cemented valuable relationships.
The 2016 conference included impressive panel sessions and keynote addresses from respected members of the sporting community; including Sebastian Coe, Eddie Jones, Clare Balding and Rio Ferdinand.
