New Concord Lions host 2017 Car Show

NEW CONCORD — The New Concord Lions Club hosted its annual Car Show Saturday, June 17 on the Stormont Elementary School property in the “heart” of the village. Approximately 60 cars, trucks and motorcycles were present.

The Spikeman from Scio provided music and emcee services. The volunteer Lions members sold concessions and offered a 50/50 drawing. All proceeds go toward helping New Concord, state, national and international Lions programs.

Lions is an international service club, which focuses on assisting with vision and eye care. The club also donates their manpower for service projects in the area.

The New Concord Lions Club wish to thank all participants and sponsors for a great event, which is able to “give back” and help others.
